I've had 7 dogs while growing up with my family, but Terra is the first dog I had by myself. I had NO IDEA puppies were this crazy. A little shark. Velociraptor. Destroyer of my pants and limbs. But an angel asleep.

how to deal with a broken heart:
̶1̶-̶ ̶G̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶a̶p̶y̶.̶ 2- Get a puppy labrador. Anyways! Welcome Terra to my life ^^ One of the good things that came out of the pandemic is that I started biking. A LOT. I would climb around Griffith park almost everyday day, then I moved closer to the beach and would bike around the beach, Palos Verdes, and fire roads and single tracks in Malibu. I have never been that buff and tan in my life! I love biking.
I know I'm Brazilian but I was NOT born for hot weather. I thrive in cold and rainy mountains. Why am I living in LA?
Remembering times when we could all hangout... A superbloom happened the year before and we went to see the cheddar puff hills.
Lockdowns and isolation. Stuck with ourselves but still free in nature. Rainy California is my favorite California.
I started with these little drawings during the pandemic. When the lockdowns started, I lost my job, giving me a lot of spare time to draw. Also, I was still under my student visa and if I didn't find a job that could sponsor my visa in less than 2 months I would have to go back to Brazil after 5 years living in the USA... I had my portfolio, I reached out to recruiters, and my friends knew I was looking for a job. There was nothing else I could do about it, and with such a tight deadline, I kind of lost hope. But instead of stressing out about all of it, I decided to enjoy the last few weeks I had here and only draw for fun. Thus, I started with these little comics that capture a bit of that time and moving forward.
