We have this New Year's Eve traditions in Brazil: we wear white clothes, but the color of your underwear signifies what you'll get for the new year. White- peace, yellow-money, red-love, green-health, etc. Last year I spent the holidays in Brazil with family and friends, but it didn't go as planned...
this happened in the New Year's Eve of 2022, but it took me the entire year to actually finish this comic bc I wanted to post it on the New Year's Eve of 2023. Even though my year didn't start as peaceful as I wanted, I had a pretty chill year in 2023. Lots of hikes, trips, new friends and peaceful times. I feel more fueled to do some art in 2024!

Hiked at night with a friend to see the Perseids meteor shower. Many shooting stars and for some reason a bunch of helicopters with bright lights looking for something in the mountains... a missing person? aliens? who knows.
Haven't posted much in a while because I have been busy with nature. With so much rain the past few weeks, all the waterfalls are flowing, the flowers are blooming, and the hills are singing. I don't want to draw.
went back home to Brazil for the first time after ten thousand years (4 years). Saw my family, ate pizza and churrasco, gained 4 pounds, and went on many adventures :)
We had an awful heatwave in LA but then the rain came. I think Terra thought everything was wet with pee and she just started peeing in the middle of the road... then she had rain zoomies
I was living like a poor college student and full of unpacked boxes while waiting for my visa. If I didn't get it I would have to leave the country after the notice in less than 10 days!!!! Yes absurd. But thanks to the universe everything worked out and I got myself a hammock like a true Brazilian.
ps: terra ate the wooden support that came with the hammock, so in a way she got her toy... After 7 years of living in the USA, I finally got a work visa. Thanks to all my mentors, friends, coworkers and studio for the help :')
